AMS training is a workforce improvement company with extensive experience in instructional design, course facilitation and performance consulting.  Our workforce development specialists have worked with both public and private organizations in the fields of technology, residential property management and education.  The main focus of our company is improving employee retention and performance by enhancing workplace environments.  We offer seminars in: communication training, diversity training, ethics training, leadership training, sales training, property management training and DISC assessments.

Our Mission – AMS Training is dedicated to providing customized consulting services and performance elevation solutions, including needs analysis, design, development, course implementation and evaluation.  Our consultants will deliver quality training to enhance employee retention and improve performance.

Ann Smith – Experience Summary
Ann Smith is the owner of AMS Training, LLC, specializing in workplace improvement.  She is an instructional designer and trainer, with a strong background in the ADDIE design method and experiential learning.  Ann consults with corporate leaders to analyze their needs and devise effective solutions.  She develops courses and serves as a national speaker and meeting facilitator for companies across the globe – both large and small.

Prior to founding AMS Training, Ann worked as a Workforce Development Specialist at Micron Technology, Inc., a world leader in semi-conductor solutions.  In her role at Micron, Ann was instrumental in the development, design and global implementation of the training materials for the company’s performance management system.  She coached supervisors and engineers in performance improvement, feedback skills, goal setting, employee evaluations and competencies.  She also delivered training for Micron Puerto Rico, in both English and Spanish.

In addition to her work at Micron, Ann served as Regional Director of Education for ConAm Management Corporation, a property management company with over 50,000 apartment units in 26 metropolitan areas nationwide.  At ConAm, Ann was responsible for instructional design in customer service and management training, course facilitation and the employee recognition program.  She wrote and delivered courses in fair housing, leasing, marketing, resident retention, team building, diversity and sexual harassment.  Ann has also worked in the public arena, teaching secondary students and coordinating staff development training for teachers in California, Nevada and Idaho.

As an extension of her career skills, Ann volunteers as a mentor and assistant coach for Team in Training, a charitable organization that trains people for marathons and raises funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).  In her five years as a volunteer, Ann has raised over 12K for LLS, has run nine marathons and has helped a dozen new members reach their fundraising and running goals.  She also volunteers to conduct CPR Training for the Red Cross.
